Our earrings are made with the highest quality hand milled, laser cut Hawaiian Koa, from the Big Island's Kona side. These earrings include an abalone veneer inlay. This design is .8 inches wide by .8 inches high by .1 inches thick.
We manufacture our own Koa sheets in very small batches, using reclaimed wood from the offcuts from local wood mills, and as such, each batch of Koa has wide variations of character. The pair of earrings you receive may differ slightly in look from the pictures in the listing, but we use only the finest Koa for our earrings and pendants.
All of our earring hooks are high quality silver plated stainless steel, and are nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Our earrings are finished with Krystal® conversion varnish, a chemical and water impervious finish which imparts a durable and high-gloss shine.
Our Abalone inlay earrings can be made with your choice of Abalone color; natural will be the default choice, but there are 12 other colors available in the color dropdown.
